Chicago Public Library
The Harold Washington Library is the main branch of the Chicago Public Library system. Offering DVDs, CDs, books, and other media for loan to Chicago residents, It is a tremendous resource to residents of the South Loop.






Grant Park
Grant Park is Chicago's front yard, and if you live in the South Loop, it's your front yard!  The city holds most of its major festivals in Grant Park like Blues Fest, Jazz Fest, Taste of Chicago, Country Music Festival.  There are many free concerts by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and other great bands of all genres.  Grant Park also is home to Lollapalooza.  A short walk or bike ride from your apartment, and you're in the middle of the action!

Museum Campus
The South Loop's Museum Campus is home to the Field Museum of Natural History, the Adler Planetarium, and the Shedd Aquarium & Oceanarium.  People travel from all over the world to visit these amazing cultural attractions, which are right in your backyard!
